Cody McCain M.A., LPC
As part of the Dallas counseling staff my focus is on children, adolescents, adults and families. With children and adolescents, treatment will often focus on the entire family to make lasting gains. While it can be difficult at times to get everyone involved, this typically produces the best results. Treatment that includes the family system is usually more successful when dealing with children and adolescents.
In addition to my private practice I’ve worked as a therapist in the TCOOMMI Program to provide individual and family counseling to juvenile offenders with mental health needs in Dallas County. My experience has taught me a great deal about how to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and often quite challenging circumstances in their lives who find themselves in crisis. It is my job to assist my clients in achieving positive outcomes. I am continually amazed at how much adversity people can overcome to be successful and strong individuals.
